Brian Cox to Attend Opening at Oldham Sixth Form College

A new extension at Oldham Sixth Form College will be opened by Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell and Professor Brian Cox on 27 November. The refurbishments include an extension to the main entrance and internal remodelling to the Duncan Lawton Building and to the Arts and Media Departments. AA Projects successfully secured two rounds of BCIF funding to procure these works and provided design, contract administration and quantity surveying services.

Carlisle College of the Arts to be Officially Opened

The official opening of the new Carlisle College of the Arts is to take place on 27 November 2014, helping to celebrate the diamond anniversary of the college. The new Digital and Creative Arts Centre was designed and constructed by a team led by AA Projects and opened to students at the start of the autumn term. It comprises of a dance studio, theatre, recording studios, mac labs, an arts suite and multiple flexible teaching areas.

Restoration Work at Gunnersbury Baptist Church

The AA Projects team is undertaking the role of CDM-Coordinator on this project for the Gunnersbury Baptist Church in West London, a building which dates back to 1877. The project involves restoration and cleaning of the stone work. The church is enclosed with scaffolding at present, with the stone work cleaning completed and masonry repairs 75% finished. Bird deterrent works are also underway.
