£2.2 million Refurbishment Project to Commence at The Lowry

Refurbishment works to extend the restaurant and bar at the landmark theatre complex are to commence this month. AA Projects is providing project management, quantity surveying and CDM-C services on the delivery of the 13-week project, having originally worked closely with The Lowry client team on the funding application to the Arts Council of England.

FM Savings for The Hathershaw College

The facilities management team has just completed an exercise with The Hathershaw College to re-procure the college’s cleaning contract. Having conducted a tender, we developed a pre-qualification questionnaire and a full tender package including service level agreement, KPI’s and cleaning specification. On completion of the process, we have achieved a 28% saving in the college’s annual cleaning costs.

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Charity

A team from AA Projects, along with partners and friends, are heading out to complete the Yorkshire three peaks this Saturday. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Continued Support to Dick Camplin Education Trust

AA Projects is proud to have continued its annual charity commitment to the Dick Camplin Education Trust and earlier this week attended the scholarship awards at Loreto College. The scholarships funded by the Trust have had an enormous impact on the opportunities and life chances of Loreto students. The Dick Camplin Trust has now donated in total over £100,000 in support.

New Units at White City Retail Park

A fast track programme is nearing completion at White City Retail Park in Manchester which will see the opening of an additional retail seventeen units. The new units will deliver an additional 170,000ft2 of floor space and the works comprise of a mix of new build and cut and carve. This is one of a number of retail schemes that AA Projects is delivering for Derwent Holdings around the country, providing project management, employer’s agent, CDM coordinator and quantity surveying services.

New Location for London Office

The AA Projects London office has now moved to 6 Lloyds Avenue, EC3N 3AX. The new office is housed in a grade II listed building conveniently located near Tower Hill and Aldgate tube stations and round the corner from Fenchurch Street station.
