Energy Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing Environmental Consultancy Unit assisting in the production of Renewable Energy Feasibility Studies and Energy Efficiency Studies. The role involves assisting clients with projects from inception to completion but not design, which is undertaken by others. Within the role you will be working on a variety of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects predominantly in the education and commercial sectors.
Applications are sought from candidates with a BSc / BEng (or equivalent qualification/experience) in a relevant environmental / surveying / engineering discipline. Membership of an appropriate professional body, i.e. the Energy Institute, CIBSE (or similar), is an advantage, but not essential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a good level of previous practical experience in undertaking energy surveys and audits, energy modelling and energy performance analysis.
Duties:
- Delivery of Renewable Energy Feasibility Studies and Energy Efficiency Audits
- Energy modelling
- Contract administration / project management
- Client liaison
