Project details:
The Warwickshire Justice Centre in Leamington Spa will be a landmark development where the Courts Service, the Police and the Justice Agencies will be co-located and integrated to provide joined-up justice and improve facilities and service to the public. The new centre will be located in Newbold Terrace and will be linked to the existing Police building in Hamilton Terrace, which will be re-organised and completely refurbished.

Project: Newcastle City Library

Project details:
The demolition and rebuilding of the City and High Heaton Libraries in their existing sites. The demolition of the Basil Spence City Library in a prominent city centre location is the critical first phase to enable the construction of "the most significant public library between Leeds and Edinburgh" over six floors naturally lit through a large atrium. The building is designed with many environmentally friendly features and includes improvements to Princess Square to create a vibrant urban square.

Project: Longley Park Sixth Form College
Value: £13 million
Project details:
A new 7800m² College building on 3/4 floors, providing new Sixth Form College facilities. The building is located on a restricted site, relying upon close cooperation with the Local Authority and Residents alike. A key driver to the project was to develop a sustainable building which incorporated building elements, including new air conditioning technologies, use of grey water, along with other environmental design features. Construction commenced in May 2003 and the College was completed and operational by August 2004. The College has won an RIBA award. AA Projects added value to the project by providing unique Public Sector Consultation Services. The project was to establish a new institution which required substantial co-ordination of public and agency consultation.

Project: Peterborough Schools

Project details:
Provision of a new build school and the significant extension and remodelling of two existing schools for Peterborough Council's flagship PFI project. Significant S278/S106 highway and safe pedestrian route works have also been undertaken as part of the project. AA Projects provided both technical advisor and quantity surveying roles on behalf of the Council.

Client: Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council
Project: Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme
Value: £30 million
Project details:
As part of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, Sefton MBC has been designated as a One-school Pathfinder Authority (OSP) in advance of their inclusion in Building Schools for the Future. The project facilitates the amalgamation of Bootle High School and Litherland High School into a new school. The project comprises the phased demolition and construction of some 10,000m² of new accommodation via the Partnership for Schools Contractor Framework. AA Projects is providing, in conjunction with Broadway Malyan, Technical Advisor and Design services and are providing project management, programme, procurement, cost and health and safety advice.

Project: Norris Green Life Long Learning Centre

Project details:
Refurbishment of existing library to provide new teaching workshop, enhanced communal library facilities and extended guidance areas. A separate fit out contract provided equipment and furniture. The scheme was a collaboration between five client and end user groups involving significant levels of liaison.
