Project details:

Development of 45 high specification 2 and 3 bedroom apartments on site adjacent to River Mersey.  Planning and environmental issues were particularly prevalent on this sensitive site.  Acoustic issues were a particular site constraint for this project as the M60 flyer is less than 50m away.  AA Projects carried out several detailed feasibility studies with the Client and team to maximise the investment opportunities for the site and subsequently managed the delivery of a comprehensive Planning submission.

Project details:

Design and construction of multi-storey student residences entailing 11,250m2 of new build accommodation comprising 307 bedrooms together with 750m2 mixed use retail and 300m2 leisure areas.  This is a complex project on a main arterial road in the City Centre with difficult access.  The project is adjacent to existing student accommodation and requires careful planning and phasing.

Project details:

Construction of 1157 student bed accommodation with associated ancillary areas; construction of shell and core retail unit for Magnet Plc; construction of 7 trade units; construction of further retail shell and core circa 1815m² extensive enabling works comprising demolition, decontamination, services diversions, flood mitigation works and off site section 278 highway works; all external works, drainage and services.


Opal Property - Mixed use development

Project details:

Design and construction of multi-storey student residences entailing 30,000m2 of new build accommodation comprising 1,000 bedrooms and 15 one/two bedroom flats, together with 800m2 mixed use retail and service areas.  The scheme also includes for the redevelopment of a retained listed building to provide 500m2 of mixed use service areas on 2 floors.

Design and construction of a landmark twenty five-storey building of student residences entailing 6,570m2 of new build accommodation comprising 564 bedrooms together with ground floor retail and service areas.

Project details:

Design and construction of an eight storey development of 51 private residencies.  Location is on the site of previous industrial buildings and is close proximity to other multi storey accommodation and University facilities.


Green Spaces for People - regeneration project

Project: Green Spaces for People

Value: £15.7 million

 

 

Project details:

A BIG Lottery funded national scheme delivered by a partnership of three Registered Social Landlords (RSL's): Places for People, The Riverside Group and the Peabody Trust.
The scheme is to develop the “green spaces” on a number of estates managed by the RSL's. The estates are located nationwide from Scotland through to South East England and the project values range from circa £20k to £530k.
The completed projects will enable the estate communities to engage, interact and play in a safe environment. The projects will include community gardens, multi-use games areas, children’s play areas, community meeting places, natural wildlife habitats, sensory gardens and community enterprise projects.
Programme Management and Cost Management Services are provided. This includes the creation of a Project Management Plan for the entire project team to structure and frame the delivery of the 75 projects and the instigation of a master programme to monitor, review and plan the project delivery.
