Michael Gove Opens Girls Sixth Form at Altrincham Grammar
A £2 million sixth form extension for Altrincham Grammar School for Girls has been opened by the Secretary of State for Education, Michael Gove. Also in attendance was Graham Brady, MP for Altrincham and Sale West. AA Projects worked closely with headteacher Dana Ross-Wawrzynski and providing strategic property advice and formulation of the grant capital funding application. Following detailed negotiations with the funding body, AA Projects secured 100% funding for the new accommodation that will deliver additional teaching rooms and a Learning Resource Centre. These outstanding new facilities will allow the school to deliver sixth form provision to a greater number of pupils, helping to meet ever increasing demand. Paul Allen, Managing Director at AA Projects said, “We are delighted to have secured the funding and been involved in the delivery of these excellent sixth form facilities. Altrincham Grammar School for Girls has an outstanding sixth form that will continue to go from strength to strength.”
