CIF Announcement 2020/2021

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) has confirmed there will be a further round of the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) this year 2020 to 21 to finance building condition improvements and expansion.

Projects that could benefit from CIF include:

  • Roof, window and cladding replacement
  • Replacement of boiler/heating infrastructure
  • Life safety and Fire Protection Systems
  • Safeguarding Schemes
  • Expansion

We attribute our success, with academy clients across the country, to taking the time to understand what schools need and submitting detailed, robust and comprehensive bids including meeting this year’s ESFA updated criteria. To date, AA Projects has secured capital funding of over £250 million for 750 academies nationwide and our schemes receive twice as much funding compared to the national average.

If you are applying for the funding, don't delay, the deadline for applications is noon on 13 December.

A New Sports Pavilion for Manchester Communication Academy

Pleased to announce the completion of a new sports pavilion for Manchester Communication Academy. We were appointed to provide a range of professional services including preparation and submission of funding application to secure Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) and Healthy Pupil Capital Fund (HPCF) support.

Following successful application for the funding, we were commissioned to design and manage the build of the pavilion that consists of piled foundations, brick and block walls as well as a Kingspan Roof System. The pavilion includes four new changing rooms, referee changing areas, and disabled facilities which will serve the existing hard play, grass areas and astro-turf of the school. The focus was very much on delivering changing facilities that are of an excellent standard, as well as providing a safe and secure environment.
