AA Projects have three schemes nominated for RICS Awards 2019

RICS has released its regional shortlists for the 2019 Awards. We are delighted to have three schemes make the shortlist.

“The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They celebrate the achievements and successes of RICS professionals and their impact on local communities.”

Maes y Dderwen, an extra-care facility in Wrexham, and the new Conwy Council offices are in contention for the best building in Wales while the Maples in Kirkby, a further 170 unit extra care facility, has been shortlisted for the North West region.

With ESFA Condition Improvement and Healthy Pupils Capital Funding secured in 2018/19 AA Projects completed a comprehensive programme of improvements and refurbishments that have delivered a range of great new spaces for the pupils of Crossacres Academy, Wythenshawe. We secured the funding, designed, tendered and administered the contract on the project.

AA Projects Helps Selective Schools Fund Extra Places for Disadvantaged Children

Sixteen grammar schools in England are receiving a share of the Department for Education's selective school expansion fund to accommodate up to 4,000 extra pupils.

We achieved a 75% success rate for the selective schools we worked with and have secured £6.5m of the £49.3 million funding released for the schools, making up 13% of the total fund

AA Projects Team Sleepout and Raise £5,744 for the Booth Centre

On Friday 9th November a team of nine from the Manchester office took part in the biggest Manchester sleepout ever, raising an amazing £5,774.00 for the Booth Centre.

The Booth Centre works to achieve a “home for everyone,” the monies raised will continue to support the activities programme offered by the centre which includes arts, support and advice and employment skills training as well as hot showers and nutritious meals.
