Planning Submitted for Hulme Development

Planning applications have been submitted to Manchester City Council for 170 homes for market rent in Hulme. If approved the PRS development from One Manchester, known as Hulme Living, will see a mixture of two-bed apartments and three-bed townhouses built at Leaf Street and Royce Road. AA Projects is project managing the scheme and providing FM consultancy. All revenues earned from the new homes are to be reinvested back into community development programmes.

Wolseley UK Wins Data Centre Cooling Impact Award

Congratulations to Wolseley UK, announced as a category winner at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards. The Wolseley European Data Centre won the Data Centre Cooling Impact Award for what the judges described as, “an extremely good example of what can be achieved by effort and desire to improve”. The building was opened in 2013 with a team from AA Projects providing project management and quantity surveying services during its completion, working alongside John Page, Wolseley UK’s Facilities Manager.

Focus on CIF Funding

Further to the EFA’s announcement of a further round of CIF funding, our education specialists have started preparing applications to enable sufficient time to prepare high quality bids. In last year’s rounds our teams secured over £25 million of funding for our clients, taking the total academy funding secured to date to over £150 million.
