Renewable Energy Commissions

AA Projects has received two exciting renewable energy commissions. Our energy and sustainability team has been appointed to provide measurement and verification (M&V) plans for a biomass combined heat and power plant in Nottingham and a waste to energy plant in Sheffield. Both schemes are funded by Equitix in conjunction with the Green Investment Bank.

CIF Funding Success

Following last week’s CIF announcement, we are delighted to have attained funding for over 50 projects for academy clients across the country. To date, AA Projects has secured capital grants for over 300 academies nationwide, with funding totalling over £125 million. Our schemes receive on average twice as much funding compared to the national average and we have a 100% success rate with previously failed bids prepared by academies or competitors.

The University of Central Lancashire has submitted a planning application for a £30 million Engineering Innovation Centre. Our teams at AA Projects are providing project management, quantity surveying and principal designer services on the scheme. It forms part of an exciting £200 million Preston campus masterplan.

The Winners and Losers of Carbon Tax Simplification

New PRS Appointment

AA Projects has been appointed to provide rights of light, principal designer, party wall and sustainability services for a new £20m private rented sector/commercial development known as Unity and Armouries House on Bromsgrove Street. The project will comprise 162 residential apartments and 4,250 ft2 of commercial space in the heart of Birmingham City Centre with completion due in March 2018.
